Directions from the GTA
* HWY 400 north, to HWY 89 exit
* At the exit light, go east on HWY 89, past the Cookstown Outlet Mall
* Go north at 10th Sideroad
* Go west at 4th Line
* Turn at the first driveway on the left (fire route #3065) – look for the balloons + “Bridget & Andrew’s Wedding” sign

Accommodation recommendation
We have reserved a block of 20 rooms at the Travelodge hotel located at 55 Hart Drive in Barrie, Ontario, and within minutes of our venue. Please call ahead at 705-734-9500 to make your reservation under Silk-Indelicato by July 9. If all rooms are reserved when you call, contact us and we’ll suggest some alternatives.
Parents with young children
The nature of our venue poses risks for children left unattended. Our party will be situated near the drop zone where skydivers will be landing throughout the day, as well as near the busy parking lot. While soft barriers will be present, we ask that you be vigilant in keeping your kids as well other children away from these dangerous areas. Also, no pets please!
Dress and footwear suggestions
Being an outdoor August wedding, we recommend that you dress in your best casual summer attire. For ladies, we strongly discourage wearing heels as the ceremony and reception take place on a grassy field.
Ways you can help us
We’re looking for volunteers to help manage the following on our wedding day:
* Reception set up and take down (Saturday morning and evening)
* Bocce tournament
* Wife Carrying contest
* Kids activities
* Safety team for kids (great job for older kids)
We are serving food buffet style and would appreciate any side dishes or desserts you can provide. Please note that due to the nature of our venue, alcohol will not be served.

If you want to skydive on our big day
Our venue Skydive Toronto is offering a special discount to those of you who will be joining us in the incredible experience of tandem or static line solo skydiving on our wedding day. If you pay a special reduced rate on or before May 31st, your jump will be honored on our wedding day. Keep in mind they’ll provide jump training on that day and all the protective gear and clothing you’ll need during your tandem jump. For more info visit

I think it woud be awesome to get some sort of massive matt (from china town) to lay on the earth, so that we can take our shoes off & dance as the sun sets. i may have to start the dance floor or do an improvisational dance as entertainment, but i’m gonna want to get my boogie on after a day in heat & thinking about the deflowering of my sista!
